Between April and December 2017 tall ship sailing specialist Star Clippers is hosting sixteen guest speakers on board its three magnificent tall-ships, covering topics as diverse as wine to opera, history to conservation, yoga to life-coaching and wellness.
Star Clippers operates fully crewed sailing voyages on board the world’s largest full-rigged sailing ships, in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Indonesia and Asia. The guest speakers will host workshops and discussions during the sailings, while the ship is at sea, optimising time on board and enabling guests to learn a new skill or subject.
Eight fitness, yoga and pilates sailings are included in the schedule, offering guests the opportunity to practice these disciplines in the open air on the teak-decks, early morning and at sun-down, in spectacular ocean or coastal settings. The setting optimises the tranquillity of the ships, the guests can engage with nature and benefit from the breath-taking experience of tall ship sailing.

Notes to editors:
Star Clippers operates three of the world’s largest and tallest fully-crewed sailing vessels, with a new ship being built for delivery in 2017. The ships can drop anchor in smaller harbours and visit ports often untouched by larger cruise ships and providing guests with the amenities and atmosphere of a private yacht.
High standards of service are provided by an attentive crew and all three ships have expansive teak decks, swimming pools, informal dining, a convivial Tropical Bar on deck and a comfortable piano bar and are large enough to offer first class accommodation and dining.
The two smaller ships, Star Flyer and Star Clipper, take 170 guests each, with a crew of 70, while Royal Clipper carries 227 with a crew of 106.
